Vasilis Kostas is a world-class laouto player from Greece who attended the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz Institute in Boston, MA on a full scholarship. He has performed and collaborated with legendary musicians around the world including Tigran Hamasyan, Simon Shaheen, Antonio Serrano and has studied next to the living legends of Jazz tradition like Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Terri Lyne Carrington and more. With Berklee, he appeared as a soloist on laouto with the World Strings Orchestra conducted by Eugene Friesen and traveled to Spain to present Greek music through the prism of the Greek lute.
